Biography: 
Isaku Kageyama is an award-winning taiko performer, percussionist, composer, and producer working in a wide range of music idioms including albums, films, TV, and video games. Formerly a principal drummer of premiere ensemble Amanojaku, he holds a Bachelor of Music from the Berklee College of Music and a Master of Arts from Longy School of Music of Bard College. Isaku was commissioned by Asano Taiko US to compose “Rei,” an Odaiko showcase piece which premiered at North American Taiko Conference 2015. He also produced the soundtrack for “Phoenix Force,” a Shoot ‘em Up by Awoker Games, which reached over 220,000 downloads in 2015. He is also a two-time National Odaiko (large drum) Champion, becoming the youngest person to win highest honors at the Mt. Fuji Odaiko Contest in 2000, and Hokkaido in 2003.
