Class syllabus: 

Aisatsu

Drills
Roll exercise
- Focus on small hits, wrist technique, and grip

Elbows only
- Focus on medium hits and hitting through positions 3-5

Big strikes!
- Focus on large hits and augmenting relaxed strike technique with speed to increase sound quality

Oroshi
- Led by Hiroka
- Try with lights off to focus on listening to play together (instead of only watching)
- How to use vocal cues as the leader to keep the group together

16s
- Aim for consistency in sound and hitting technique (medium hits)
- Focus is key: find a way that works for you as a roadmap through the drill
- For PEAC week, we'll demo the first three phrases: 1234... | 1&234.... | 1&2&34.... (each pattern played leading RLRL)
