- Small hits
- Medium hits
- Large hits
- Focus on relaxation and speed

4-8-16-32
Practice going from 16 to 32 accurately
Zoom in on transitions from section to section
- Understand relationships between sections
- Get good at transitioning at a variety of tempi
Practice maintaining strong sound quality in each pattern

Oroshi
Focus on "slowing down" half of oroshi
Use body language to indicate final hit
Unify choreography of last do DON!
Try to smooth out the process of slowing down

Call and response
Kuchishoga review
"Say, repeat, play" C&R
- Caller says a pattern, ensemble repeats (kuchishoga), all play the pattern on drums
Basic C&R
- Caller plays a pattern on the drum, ensemble repeats on drums
"Leap Frog" solos
- Caller plays 8 beats
- Next person repeats final 4 beats, then plays 4 more
- Next person repeats similarly, and so on

Homework: 

Roll exercise on a pillow at least once for 5 minutes
