Dontsuku Dorotsuku - Group/Individual

Soloing
Discussion
-what does it meant to solo?
-why is it scary? (find own true reason)
-how do you overcome it? (for Yuta - find purpose for it)
-how do you put into action?

Practical Exercises
-take a phrase that everyone knows (donsu don kodoko dodon kodon don)
-use tools to convey feeling - dynamics in sound, dynamics in movement (slow, fast, burst, soft), flare?
-feel the limitations of the scripted phrase

Create!
-taking the earlier phrase as a margin (something to compare to) - create a phrase (similar is fine) that will enable it to be better for what you want to convey
-take a beat out, add a few beats, create something more!
Fun
- Scuttlebutt with partner

Enjoy!
-even with all of the above, it is still (always) scary to be singled out and have to be yourself (same as having to speak, and we are so much better with words!)
-say "heck to that, this is what I am and I love taiko!"
