Course Description: Naname is one of the most dynamic and exciting styles of taiko popularized by Sukeroku Taiko. This course is open to all levels and will cover fundamentals such as grip, stance, and basic stroke. Participants can expect to gain a deeper understanding of Naname style drumming. A core part of the learning will involve the piece Nami by Julia Asano.
