Course Description: This course is open to all levels and will cover fundamentals such as grip, stance, and basic stroke for playing the Naname style (Slant Drum) popularized by Sukeroku Taiko. This course will cover both traditional and contemporary repertoire such as Bon Daiko (Obon Festival drumming), Agari Yatai (Composed by Yoichi Watanabe of Amanojaku) and Nami (Composed by Julia Asano).
