Sunday, June 24, 7:30PM - Senshin Obon Practice Observation
The kind folks at Senshin Obon have graciously agreed to let us observe an Obon Practice. This is a rare opportunity to get an inside view into the "making of" an Obon Festival. Practices are usually around 2 hours. Thank you Carol for connecting us with the Senshin community.

Saturday, June 29 7PM - Senshin Obon
Obon Festival at Senshin Buddhist Temple, and one of the longest running Obon Festivals in the United States. Some songs covered in class (Bon Odori Uta, Pokemon Ondo, Goshugi Ondo) will be played during the night. Musical guests include Yoko Fujimoto (Kodo) and PJ Hirabayashi (San Jose Taiko).
