Warm Up: 4-8-16 Strikes
Things to Remember

Movements
CIRCLES
-- Non-hitting arm does circles in plane of body as the other arm strikes taiko.
Things to Remember
-- Everything is in smooth constant motion.
-- The down strikes (hitting the taiko) should be a faster motion.
(1) Right Hits
-- Checkpoint 1: Both bachies pointed at the center of the taiko's face. Stand next to the taiko in ready stance.
-- Checkpoint 2: V-shape arms. The right arm extends normally to hit a full strike. Meanwhile, the left arm circles upward to make a circular motion.
-- Checkpoint 3: Strike taiko. The left arm continues to circle down (counterclockwise) and when it reaches somewhere around the 8o'clock area, the right arm strikes the taiko. The left arm continues on its circular path to meet the right bachi back at the taiko's center (back to Checkpoint 1).
-- Repeat
(2) Left Hits
-- Checkpoint 1: Both bachies pointed at the center of the taiko's face. Stand next to the taiko in ready stance.
-- Checkpoint 2: Diagonally out. Bring the left arm straight back as you would when hitting a full strike. Meanwhile, the right arm circles upward on a dome path and meets the left arm at the striking position.
-- Checkpoint 3: Strike taiko. The left arm strikes the taiko as the right arm continues on its circular path (clockwise) to meet the left bachi back at the taiko's center (back to Checkpoint 1).
-- Repeat
Things to Remember: Left Circle Hits
-- The bachies never goes behind the taiko.
(3) Alternate
-- Alternate right hits and let hits. "Reset" at Checkpoint 1.

POINTS
-- Non-hitting arm points straight out at something as the other arm strikes taiko.

-- The down strikes (hitting the taiko) should be a faster motion.

-- Stand next to the taiko in ready stance. Extend both arms diagonally out as if to hit a full strike. Strike with your right as the left arm "unfolds" straight out to the left (parallel to the ground). Repeat
Things to Remember: Right Point Htis
-- Left arm "unfolds" with a force of flinging an imaginary clay (stuck on the head of your left bachi) onto the wall.
(2) Left Hits
-- Stand next to the taiko in ready stance. Extend both arms diagonally out as if to hit a full strike. Strike with your left as the right arm stays extended and does not move. Repeat

Solo
-- Everyone takes turns playing their solo as everyone else plays the Ji-Pattern.
