How to Start and End Hachijo Solo
Start
- Yuukichi/Shabataki (x4 Uwa, x4 with Shita, then solo)
- Honbataki (x2 Uwa, x2 with Shita, then solo)

End
- Replace HPP Line 5 with Ending Phrase: | ● - ● - | ● - ● - | - ● - - | ● - - - |

Practice Structure
Start -> HPP (x2) -> End

Speed Up Template

- Practice without speeding up (to learn rhythm)
- Practice with speed up (with Shitauchi, to work on speeding up as an ensemble)

- Technique is the "current Masa" version, but will continue to change/evolve
- Similarly, continue to explore and expose self to different Hachijo players & styles, and eventually develop own style
- "Hachijo song/chant" sheet provided, but not practiced in WS -- song is sang often times mid-Honbataki Solo, and chant before speeding up
