Learn the background of taiko, take a tour of the facility, and meet the instructor (1:30pm) before diving into a hands-on taiko class! The weekly, Sunday 2:00pm Small Drum and Jiuchi class teaches the essential grip and strike for the "shime-daiko", "okedo-daiko", and other drums. Participants learn new "jiuchi" (base beats) and play as a team to make rocking rhythms.
