Steps Toward Asano Taiko U.S. Opening

Dear Friends, Family, and Community Members,

We hope that you and your loved ones are as well as you can be during this long lasting pandemic. We at Asano miss you all so much...

As you may already know, Los Angeles has started allowing non-essential businesses to reopen, and since gyms are included in this list, we too have decided to start opening our doors in steps.

June - Store opens for retail (details below)

June - Studio open for rental/personal practice

July 1 - Private lessons available (details below)

August 1 - Small group lessons available

??? - LATI Classes recommences

Store Open hours (starting July 1):

Saturdays - 12-4pm

(note: we are no longer opening our store on Tuesdays)

Studio Rental and Private Lesson Hours (starting July 1):

Weekdays - 3-10pm

Weekends - 10am-5pm

Asano Taiko U.S. COVID-19 Protocols Include:

-checking body temperature of instructors and students before entering the facility

-requiring masks for the whole duration of a rental or lesson

-maintaining 6ft of distance between people (most likey 10ftx10ft boundaries set inside studio)

-requiring sanitization of hands and bachi

-minimal touching of drums (staff will set up drums according to the request of students)

-no rental bachi

-studio doors always open with ventilation on (Asano AC ventilates the air outside, does not circulate the air)

-atleast 30 minutes between rentals/lessons so staff can sanitize the room and equipment
