LATIdama Presentation Ceremony

Students who earn a LATIdama are presented their bead according to the following procedure. Please review and practice your part for a satisfying ceremony.

(student stands facing teacher)
(other students in circle, hands ready)
(teacher holds bead in right hand, Evaluation in left)

Teacher: "[Student name] , you have earned the [LATIdama title]!"
All: [LATI Group Clap]
Teacher: "This bead represents,"

[teacher reads LATIdama Requirements from Evaluation]

(Teacher gives bead)
Teacher: "You can now take any LATI course with the [LATIdama title] requirement.
You can mentor others seeking to earn the [LATIdama title].
You become a member of the [LATIdama title] Society.
But is your work done?"
Student: "Our work is never done."
Teacher: "We hereby grant you the rights and responsibilities of the [LATIdama title]. Congratulations!"
