Amanda Stone began her taiko training in 2014 with world-renowned taiko performer and composer, Kenny Endo. She was brought on as a trainee for the Kenny Endo Taiko Ensemble in 2015. As a trainee, she was the assistant teacher to Yeeman (Manman) Mui’s Taiko Tots, teaching children between the ages of 2 and 10, along with their parents and grandparents. She has been a teacher for various schools since 2012. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa, where she worked on numerous theatrical productions on stage and behind the scenes.

アマンダ・ストーンは2014年に太鼓奏者かつ作曲家として世界的に有名なケニー・遠藤のもと太鼓の訓練を開始した。彼女の多岐にわたる技能は即座に役立つと分かり、ケニー遠藤の寄宿演奏グループ、ケニー遠藤太鼓アンサンブルの研修生として直ぐに認められた。太鼓の勉強と演奏に励みながら、LATIの客員講師イーマン・ムイによって開発されたプログラたム、2歳児から10歳児までの子供たちを対象とした太鼓Totsクラスのアシスタント講師としての役割も果たした。アマンダは、2012年以来、幼稚園教諭や初等数学教師として、また、幼児の遊び仲間グループの創始者として、さらには国内外を問わずフリーランスのベビーシッターとしても教育の場に携わっている。彼女の教育経験と太鼓の演奏経験は、マノア（彼女が数多くの舞台作品に取り組んだ場所）にあるハワイ大学の演劇芸術学の学位によりいっそう強化される。
