Cold Run
Spot Check
Hedge Trimmer
- This is when everyone plays together again, so make sure to start in sync
- This is the "peak" of the song, so make BIG motions. Especially the first 2 hits (jya jya): "heave-ho" from your chest.
- "Taunt": Play A or B, whichever you are most comfortable with.
Runaway
- At the end of "Gotta Go", make sure to extend the right arm as far as possible and keep it so into the next hit (the beginning of "Tassajara".
- Play "Retreat" immediately after the last hit of "Taunt"
- su~ dogo su~ godo su~ dogo gododa
Cronkite
- Kuchishouga + air bachi
- Keep a consistent tempo and emphasize/listen for every-other right hits. Make sure the hits correlate to the kuchishouga.
- dagadagadagidagodon
KLarC/Joan of Arc
- Widen the range of volume during crescendo/decrescendo. Playing this fast gives us a limit to how loud we can play, therefore...
- During the decrescendos, play very very soft by the end. Make the audience question if you're even playing.
- Crescendo from that "very very soft" point.
- Think of every transition as an event.
Other Notes
- TRY NOT TO SPEED UP. Try to keep Seiji's initial opening tempo.
Runthrough
