goals: Review exercise from previous week and try out the "getting ready" position for odaiko stance
tai chi exercise
- understanding alignment, awareness of lower body, shoulder and neck position
- the practice of "letting go"
- alignment and sense of force has improvement
- next time is to focus on the direction of force - maintaining a sturdy center line
- lengthen the spine to lift the weight of upper body instead fo collapsing all the weight into the lower body
Odaiko light saber exercise
- apply the feelings of "letting go" into the strike
- allow our body to be connect with the space behind us
homework: work on the neck posture because the alignment is currently restricting you from extending further to the back

2 minutes roll
- right handed stance with fist grip
- right handed stance with shime grip
- focus on brining awareness to tension spots
- focus on initiating the motion from the core
roll with crescendo and decrescendo
- as the roll gets deeper, the more space you need to open up in the upper body
- utilize the space behind us to open up more
