Wake Up You Lazy Bones
- Learn song and body percussion
- Change tempo (slow vs fast)
Drum basics
- Review grip and stance
- Don't leave bachi on drum after each hit
- Practice R and L separately, and then together
- Review 4 (from 4-8-16)
- Review 8
Snail Snail
- Review Song and stepping on beats
- Play "beats" on drums
- Review "snail" beats for syllables and place on top of "heart" beats.
- Discuss difference between beats and rhythm
- Play "snails" on drums
- If possible, half of the class play "beats" and other half play "snails"
Clean Up
