Practice 4-8-16-32 drill
- Practice subdividing and understanding relationship between subdivisions and each downbeat
- Review technique comments from last week
- Try to kiai "sore!" when changing lines
- Try C&R patterns developed for homework
- Review "helpful hints"
- Practice repeating patterns of varying difficulty (but always fun!) ^^b
Practice relaxed strike technique
(Optional, but recommended) With a metronome, practice 32-beat section of warm-up drill (you can use an online metronome if you don't own one).
