Yodan
Debbie Request:
Yodan - build muscle memory & tools/building blocks for solo: (I started trying to put a solo together, but got stuck very quickly, and figure I need to get back to the basics and have a better feel for what I have in my tool box and what I CAN do...)
Review - Left handed practice/drills (8-16-24, A, C, B, Tosha, etc.)
Learn - Arm circles & movement options (discuss/practice different ways for movement in Yodan)
ACTUAL:
Discuss flow/concept and make decisions -
1. Jen circles (back strokes where Rt and Lt move separately
2. Front stroke with unison arm movement
3. Big Back showing motion
4. transition into other side
5. Emphasize hitting harder and less choreography on other side
Omiyage
Odaiko:
are we doing an intro? if so, what is it? - NO
define/set actual patterns for the main song (especially during B, Build, and River)
run through (maybe record it) while Yuta plays chu & I play Odaiko (so Robie also has it for reference)
ACTUAL:
Define all parts for Omiyage
Run from B until the end with Yuta playing Odaiko
Chu:
review/refine twirls, B, and Build
help with movement in the last phrase in my duet with Krystal (Don Don suDonga Don 2, 3, 4).
Krystal will be doing the Omiyage Combo Twirl during the 2, 3, 4 break.
I was originally going to do Arm Circles for my movement, but David said that my movement is too big that it completely blocked the audience's view of Krystal. So I'll need to figure out what else I might be able to do. Can definitely use your help.
