- Break down 3rd section of variation (16ths and 32nd notes) to help with accuracy
Basic Strike Technique
Relaxed strike concept
Practice 5-point technique
- focus on building speed to create a strong sound
Oroshi
Consider transition between big-, medium-, and small-strike technique during oroshi
Play various types of oroshi together and solo as warm-up -- be creative!
Practice full Kuyou oroshi
- Hits before slow-down in section 3: 10 x 8
- Practice dynamics in sections 1 and 2
