- Use kiai to help recognize and hold space

Practice all together (simple rhythms, use familiar movements)
Even though movements are important, don't let sound become weak

- M1-4 in rows (play jiuchi when not playing melody)
- Improvised solos (1 em, play jiuchi when not soloing, play response M-pattern)
- M1-4ext unison (with single da ending)
- Add kiai in set spots in M1 and M2
