Student should bring: 

nagado bachi (usually larger diameter, maple wood)
earplugs

Quitiplas [ki-ti-plah] in the Pocket - Week 2

Warm up: Keith Terry's Rhythm Block
- 0 > 9 Right Hand and then Left Hand
- Backward 9 > 0 Left Hand then Right Hand
- Backward from 9 (step right) to 0 (hand)
Zip Code - goals: listening and playing together

Review Prima, Cruzao, Pujao
- variasions: Pr+C; C+Pu, Pr+C+Pu
- on the drums: all-one practice
- notes:
watch for tonality and resonance, need to practice bachi control, switching between shime and chu grip
Cruzao - muted sound is not clear and need to stay muted until the next hit; the tapping "te" sound need to be closer to the edge and aim for a higher tone
