This is one of my favorite classes ever because students make so much progress. A fast-paced and fun workout for the brain and body, participants learn a new naname movement routine each week alongside rocking music. Taught like an exercise class, a brief explanation of movement concepts is followed by constant drumming, with new pieces added gradually to form a satisfying whole phrase!
(Bring socks! Movements sometimes involve spinning.)
- Prereq.: naname stance, strike, M-pattern familiarity beneficial
- Repetition: low (new material weekly)
- Physical exertion: high (physical warmup and light workout followed by naname choreography)
