Kris Bergstrom

Bergstrom is an accomplished performing artist and enthusiastic taiko teacher. After four years studying taiko at Stanford, Bergstrom spent three years in Japan studying classical Japanese dance, Kabuki shamisen, and ensemble taiko before founding the highly-acclaimed, contemporary taiko group, On Ensemble. Bergstrom is dedicated to taiko composition and choreography, performing internationally as a solo artist and collaborator.

クリストファー・バーグストロム
熟練したアーティストであり、且つ熱心な太鼓の指導者である。
スタンフォード大学で太鼓を4年間学んだのち、日本に渡り3年間を古典芸能であ る日本舞踊、長唄三味線に加え、組太鼓（後に、高く評価されているコンテンポ ラリー太鼓グループ、On Ensemble の礎となる）の修行に費やす。LATIの主任教 師であるバーグストロムは、作曲や振り付けなど、常に新たな試みに挑戦し、演 奏家としても定期的に活動する傍ら、太鼓教授法の研究に打ち込む。
