Yama oroshi
- R, L alternating single hits
- Challenge version: Meta oroshi!
-- Play in groups that begin one at a time. Each group begins a little sooner after the previous group than the one before (like an oroshi!)
Kizami oroshi
- Sets of two hits: LR
- Challenge version: Suga Kizami (two groups)
DoRo oroshi
- Play DoRo immediately followed by a quiet roll
- Challenge version: Oroshi
-- Play DoRo oroshi in order with dynamics (for the rolls) and a set ending
