Alex Ito

Born and raised in Torrance, CA, Alex Ito began his taiko journey in 2014 at the Los Angeles Taiko Institute. With experience in groups such as Asano Taiko U.S.’s UnitTwo, Prota, TaikoEffect and UC Riverside Senryu Taiko, Alex enjoys composing hip-hop, rock and electronic music inspired taiko pieces and performing them with his friends under the moniker KonoKotoDake or KKD, translated from Japanese meaning "Only About This".
