- Try not to move the elbows too much
- Fully complete the drawback
- Sense the balance of the bachi
- Slow drawback, fast strike
Large strike
- RH: pull first, then boost through the medium phase
- RH: be sure to hit compactly
- LH: don't draw back too low
- LH: need to come in slightly to maintain compact strike
