Challenge Patterns
- One bar at a time.
- Start practicing with the first. Build on that with subsequent bars (one bar at a time) until full pattern is formed.
- 16th note sticking (picture at bottom: written in red)
- 8th note sticking (picture at bottom: written in orange)
- The challenge patterns will have a mix of sticking. Sometimes the whole bar will be one certain sticking, while other bars will have a mixture of both.
- 1eau / 2eau / 3eau / 4eau = RLRL / RLRL / RLRL / RLRL
- 1-a- / 2-a- / 3-a- / 4-a- = R-L- / R-L- / R-L- / R-L-

- Most people are right-handed so it's natural to rush the left hits (the less dominant hand). However, DO NOT RUSH. Raise the left hand higher so it'll have a longer distance to travel before the hit.
- Play/loop the pattern with music.

- Transition from 1st bar to the 2nd: The ending of the 1st bar is the same as the beginning of the 2nd bar. Blur the transition by playing the "4-a-" as if it's part of the 2nd bar.
- 1st bar: Don't rush the last two "a"s (2nd and 4th count).
- Play/loop the pattern with music.
KRIS + DAVID
- Play/loop the both patterns (play consecutively right after the other) with music.
