  • Bars 1-2 transition: The transition is merged into 4 sixteenth note hits (RLRL). Think of it as 4 hits oppose to 2 sixteenth note hits twice.
  • Bar 3: Don't rush the "a" (L) hits of Count 3 and 4.
  • Class plays/loops the pattern with music.
  • Play/loop the pattern with music, one player at a time. Go around the group until music stops.

  • Don't forget the "gap" (Bar 1: Count 4) between Bars 1 and 2.
  • Bar 3 Drill: While the instructor plays the ji, go around the class and play/solo just Bar 3.
  • Bar 4 Drill: Class plays Bar 4 on a loop as the instructor sets the tempo by clicking bachis. The class must adjust as the instructor changes tempo throughout the drill.
  • Play/loop the challenge pattern with music, one player at a time. Go around the group until music stops.
  • Class plays/loops the pattern with music.
VIVAN + MANMAN
